Infinite Life Simulation Devlog #1: Pets, 200+ Jobs & Human-Feeling AI NPCs

Infinite Life Simulation is a text-based, AI-powered life sim. Think BitLife, but the events, NPC decisions, and consequences are generated by AI — and you can type your own custom actions and let the game play out what happens next. I’m a solo developer, and this is Devlog #1: one of the biggest updates I’ve shipped for the game. Here’s everything that just went live in the AI life simulation game, plus a look at what’s coming.

Pets Are Here

You can now adopt or buy a pet, walk them, play with them, and build a real bond over time. Pets aren’t a static screen decoration. They react to how you treat them and become part of your story, showing up in the life you’re building rather than sitting off to the side.

A Smarter, Harder Career System: 200+ Jobs Across Real Companies

Careers got a full rework. I moved away from a flat list of jobs and rebuilt everything around a company-based system. There are now 200+ job listings across real-feeling companies, which makes building a career more realistic and, honestly, more difficult. You start at the bottom, prove yourself, and climb, instead of instantly landing your dream role on day one. It rewards the players who actually plan a life rather than reroll for a lucky start.

Friends and Family Who Feel Human

This is the change I’m most proud of. I reworked how relationships respond, so NPCs no longer reply like a generic chatbot. Their reactions are now grounded in your shared history and their own personality, which means conversations with friends and family finally land the way they should. The people in your life feel like they remember who you are.

Coming This Week

Pet accessories and customization. You’ll be able to personalize your pets with accessories and make them your own.

A stock market. A lot of you asked for this directly, so I’m building a realistic stock market you can invest in, ride the highs, and take the losses. It’s meant to be a genuine part of building wealth in your life, not a slot machine.

On the Horizon

Beyond this week, the direction I care about most is depth: better long-term memory, smarter AI, and even more believable NPCs. The goal has always been a life sim where consequences and relationships feel real, and that’s where the roadmap keeps pointing.
